Our Woods are under attack.

The threat is not distant plots and bombs or even microscopic disease, but something far closer to home. We live with these palaces of natural beauty on our door steps yet we treat them like nothing more than an oversized rubbish tip. We believe it is time our woods, forests and rural areas got the respect they deserve.

We are a group of students from the University for the Creative Arts working in Realm Woods, behind our local city council, to try and raise awareness and respect for these natural sites of splendour. Our Forests have been around for years before us and will continue long after we’re gone. They are home to a myriad of life which we take for granted, and they deserve to be treated as more than just a natural dumping ground.

These woods are yours too think first before you drop your crisp packets, beer cans and other waste items with which the forests are littering. This is your garden, keep it clean and keep it pretty.
